BigBasket BB Now customer care number, complaints and refunds

BigBasket’s own contact page lists 1860-123-1000 as its customer care number. BB Now orders sit in the same BigBasket app, so the number and the email customerservice@bigbasket.com cover them too. For a missing or damaged item, reporting it from the order in the app is the quicker route.
No genuine refund needs a fee, an OTP, your UPI PIN or a screen-sharing app (how the scam works).
How to contact BB Now customer care in the app
- Open the app and sign in with the phone number you ordered from.
- Go to your account or profile and open the help or support section, or open the order itself and choose its help option.
- Pick the order and the problem, such as a missing item, damaged item, refund or payment. Add photos when asked, because they speed up refunds.
- Keep the order ID and the chat transcript. You will need them if you escalate.
How long does a BB Now refund take?
BigBasket’s own pages give no refund timeline. Open the order in the BigBasket app to see the refund status and the date promised. Take a screenshot of that date. If it passes, escalate the complaint.
If money left your account but no BB Now order was placed, the payment usually reverses on its own. Raise it with your bank or UPI app as well as with BigBasket, and check the RBI deadline for failed UPI payments if it does not.
How to cancel a BB Now order
Cancel as soon as you can from the order screen in the app. The order screen tells you if you can still cancel and if a fee applies.
If a cancellation fee looks unfair, dispute it in the app first and then with the grievance officer.
What to do if BB Now delivers a wrong, damaged or expired item
Photograph the item, its expiry label and the bill before you open or throw anything away, then report it in the app the same day. Check the product page for its return conditions.
How to escalate a BB Now complaint
Go one step at a time, and quote the order ID and your ticket number at each one.
- Customer care. Use help on the order in the BigBasket app, or call or email customer care. Ask for a complaint number.
- Grievance officer. See how to find the BigBasket grievance officer.
- Nodal officer. BigBasket does not name a separate nodal officer, so go to the next step.
- National Consumer Helpline. Call 1915, WhatsApp 88000 01915, or file at consumerhelpline.gov.in.
- Consumer commission. If the helpline does not settle it, file online on e-Daakhil.

How to find the BigBasket grievance officer
E-commerce companies must publish their grievance officer’s name and contact details. BigBasket’s own site does not confirm them, so we don’t name one. Check the terms inside the BigBasket app, or ask customer care for the officer’s details in writing. Never use contact details posted on other websites.
Fake BB Now customer care numbers and refund scams
Directory and forum pages list numbers BigBasket does not publish, and fraudsters use them to hijack refunds.
BigBasket’s contact page gives the same number for every city office. Any other “BigBasket number” is not on BigBasket’s site.
If you have already lost money, call 1930 immediately or report at cybercrime.gov.in, then tell your bank.
