Amazon Now customer care number, complaints and refunds

Amazon Now has no customer care number of its own. Help comes from Amazon’s customer service in the Amazon app.
No genuine refund needs a fee, an OTP, your UPI PIN or a screen-sharing app (how the scam works).
How to contact Amazon Now customer care in the app
- Open the Amazon shopping app. Amazon Now orders sit inside it, so help comes from Amazon’s own customer service section.
- Open Your Orders, pick the Amazon Now order and choose the help option shown for it.
- Keep the order ID and any chat transcript.
How long does an Amazon Now refund take?
Amazon’s own pages give no refund timeline. Open the order in the Amazon app to see the refund status and the date promised. Take a screenshot of that date. If it passes, escalate the complaint.
If money left your account but no Amazon Now order was placed, the payment usually reverses on its own. Raise it with your bank or UPI app as well as with Amazon, and check the RBI deadline for failed UPI payments if it does not.
How to cancel an Amazon Now order
Cancel as soon as you can from the order screen in the app. The order screen tells you if you can still cancel and if a fee applies.
If a cancellation fee looks unfair, dispute it in the app first and then with the grievance officer.
What to do if Amazon Now delivers a wrong, damaged or expired item
Photograph the item, its expiry label and the bill before you open or throw anything away, then report it in the app the same day. Check the product page for its return conditions.
How to escalate an Amazon Now complaint
Go one step at a time, and quote the order ID and your ticket number at each one.
- Help in the app. Use customer service from the Amazon Now order in the Amazon app. Ask for a case number.
- Grievance officer. See how to find the Amazon grievance officer.
- Nodal officer. Amazon does not name a separate nodal officer, so go to the next step.
- National Consumer Helpline. Call 1915, WhatsApp 88000 01915, or file at consumerhelpline.gov.in.
- Consumer commission. If the helpline does not settle it, file online on e-Daakhil.

How to find the Amazon grievance officer
E-commerce companies must publish their grievance officer’s name and contact details. Amazon’s own site does not confirm them for Amazon Now, so we don’t name one. Look in the terms inside the Amazon app, or ask customer service for the officer’s details in writing. Never use contact details posted on other websites.
Fake Amazon Now customer care numbers and refund scams
Directory and forum pages list numbers Amazon does not publish, and fraudsters use them to hijack refunds.
Help for Amazon Now orders comes through the Amazon app. Do not call a number from a search result or a social media post.
If you have already lost money, call 1930 immediately or report at cybercrime.gov.in, then tell your bank.
